Together in Meditation:
Two separate hours of silent meditation rooted in the Christian tradition on the second and fourth Saturday each month. The format is flexible, taking into account the needs of those who attend. Send an email to Paul if you want to come. See more HERE
Listening to the Wisdom of our bodies: Weekly wellbeing - Mondays at 7pm and Thursdays at 2.30pm (75 mins)(Except Bank Holidays and school holidays). These drop-in sessions help us pay attention to all that brings a healthy balance to our bodies and our living.
Dancing Our Prayers:
In the West, dancing is a little-used but entirely natural part of spirituality. The sessions take place in the Priory Chapel. Each explores a different form of prayer.
There will be gentle dances to quieten, balance and bring a sense of inner peace. Worshipful dances will aim to express longings and receive blessing, while intercessory dances aim to help participants remember others and the world in which we live. Yet other dances will express the everyday activities and joys of life. None require any previous experience of dance. Facilitator Judy Turner will share the dances she finds helpful and give the opportunity to anyone who wants to do the same. Her aim is to respond to the desires of those who come. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
