We are living in times of great flux
and transition, in which many of our old "certainties" are

navigate the changes we face? Can we trust that breakdown can become
breakthrough, not just for ourselves but for the whole human family? Margaret
Silf is an ecumenical lay Christian and author of a number of books
on the spiritual journey in everyday life. Formerly employed in the
computer industry, she now devotes herself to writing. She travels
extensively in accompanying others on their spiritual journeys through

granddaughter.

Saturday,
February 28: "The Last
Week"
A day which brings into focus the book by the same name, written in 2006
by Marcus Borg and Dominic Crossan (publisher HarperSanFrancisco). The

Holy Week. The book is a day-by-day account of Jesus' final week in
Jerusalem and will be used as a focus for the Introduction and the
series of discussions which follow. Michael Wright is a Quaker,
based in Middlesbrough, who served as a Anglican priest for 37 years.
His aim is to stimulate thought, reflection and action in the light of
modern knowledge of Jesus and the gospels. What did Jesus actually do
and say during the last week and how did the disciples respond to him?
And what were the gospel authors' intentions as each presented his
version of Jesus?
