St Antony's Priory is a peaceful oasis near the centre of Durham City. The Centre's small ecumenical team provides hospitality and weekday worship as well as an annual programme of:

  • Quiet days and workshops led by individuals drawn from differing denominations and none;

  • Hosting and facilitating quiet days and workshops for small groups of  clergy, lay people, chaplaincy teams and others;

  • Space for individuals or small groups

  • Individually-guided and private retreats by request;

  • Space for a day or more in personal prayer, contemplation, counselling and spiritual guidance.

  • Our Recovery Programme focuses on breaking exclusion for those recovering from addictions, giving them tools for well-being and resilience in their lives.
