The cottage has been used by many over the years as a place of retreat, rest and respite, as said by one guest it was for her like “an oasis in a desert.”

Main House: in the main house we have a guest room with en suite facilities. This room can be booked for longer stays up to 3 months.

Our Bede room: which is used for one to one work, can also be used as a single unit and has its own bathroom facilities.

We would ask that people who seek to come to St Antony’s are in keeping with the ethos, work and ministry of the Priory.

The Garden Cottage

The garden cottage  built around 1830 was originally a farm labourer’s cottage as a farm was on the land that St Antony’s Priory now occupies. Over the years it has been updated and had features added but all have been in mind and in keeping with the original cottage feeling. The cottage has always been a feature and an extension to the ministry which is offered here. In February 2012 a large refurbishment was finished and two new bedrooms were added. It now consists of 4 self contained units all with their own en suite facilities. There are 3 double units and 1 single.

Two of the double units: have a lounge/fitted kitchen with a separate bedroom and en suite.

The downstairs single unit: has a lounge/ bedroom, a  separate large kitchen and en suite.

The smallest double unit: has lounge/ kitchen/bedroom with separate en suite. All units have kitchen facilities with a cooker, fridge, microwave etc and cooking utensils.

You can either choose to be fully self catering or a hot meal can be provided.  All bedding, towels etc are provided.   All units are fully equipped with breakfast supplies and to welcome you some little homemade baking treats are added.  Each unit is prepared prior to your stay with much love, prayer and attention to  detail so that your stay with us will leave you feeling rested and refreshed.
