Paul Golightly Chris Smith Margaret Hinshelwood

Paul Golightly is a Methodist Minister and Director of the Project.  He is particularly focused on developing Ignatian spirituality, and is a retreat leader and spiritual director.  He also leads workshops in Prayer and Movement.

Chris Smith has many  years of pastoral formation for ministers at Ushaw College. She is married with three adult children and has been involved in marriage and relationship counselling. She is involved now in spiritual direction.

Margaret Hinshelwood is a retired Roman Catholic head teacher. She leads quiet days and guides many in their journeys through the spiritual life.

Joan Golightly Chris Cook Joy Cook

Joan Golightly is the Priory's part-time administrator. She co-ordinates bookings and cares for guests and groups who use the Priory's facilities - as well as a myriad of other ongoing tasks.

Chris Cook is an Anglican priest and a research fellow in the Department of Theology & Religion at Durham University. He aims to develop spirituality and mental health through his work at the Priory

Joy Cook is a former occupational therapist and mother of four who joins the Priory team to exercise her considerable skills in hospitality and spiritual direction.

Michael Maasdorp Joanne Morrison  

Michael Maasdorp is a member of the Society of the Sacred Mission. He lives at the Priory, helping in the house and gardens. He also runs the SSM website which seeks to narrow the gap between theology and the ordinary Christian.
